Marianne Elizabeth Caro

Marianne Elizabeth Caro (Trantham) made the journey to heaven on October 24, 2025. She took her last breaths at home, surrounded by loving family.

Marianne was born on February 27, 1959, in Monterey, California, to Marion and Patricia Trantham. A life-long resident in Marina, CA, Marianne was proud to call this little beachside town her home. She loved singing at karaoke, attending country music concerts, watching romantic comedies, cooking delicious meals, and magical trips to Disneyland. A true light in this world, her warm presence, unending kindness, infectious laugh and playful sense of humor always brought joy to everyone around her.

For over 25 years, she worked for Stone Soup Child Care Programs. Her endless patience and creative nature made her a beloved program leader for hundreds of elementary school children. She later became the financial manager of the same program.

Marianne married her loving husband Richard on February 11, 1995. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Marianne was a devoted mother and loving auntie who took great pleasure celebrating all times of the year. Whether coloring Easter eggs, hosting lavish Halloween parties, cooking Thanksgiving dinners, or baking Christmas cookies, Marianne worked tirelessly to make every occasion special for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Richard Caro, daughter Cecelia Caro, step-sons Richard and Angel Caro, siblings Patrick Trantham and Kathleen Trantham, and preceded in death by her parents Marion and Patricia Trantham.

Per her wishes, no services will be held. However, a celebration of life for Marianne will commence in the not too distant future.

Marianne will forever live on in the minds and hearts of all who knew her. Though she will be greatly missed, she will always be remembered and deeply loved.
