Marie McCarty Lozier

Marie McCarty Lozier entered into the loving arms of God on September 15, 2025 in Englewood, FL. She was born on January 13,1935 to George J. McCarty and Catherine Dos McCarty. Marie grew up in Poughkeepsie NY where she attended St Mary's Catholic School and ultimately graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park NY.

Marie was well known for her elegance in both the Culinary Arts and Homemaking. Her flair for decorating was only exceeded by her love of traveling. She shared her greatest life experiences with her husband of 52 years, Si Lozier (2009) which is highlighted by experiences such as the Rose Bowl Parade, Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Grand Canyon, Sedona Arizona, several Caribbean Islands, Oregon, Alaska and many other amazing places.

Marie's career with the family business blossomed while devoting bountiful time raising her two boys (Tom and Larry) and her grandchildren (Laura, Mitchell and Kimberly (2002)). She balanced her challenging positions with Si at her side and the two of them enjoyed their retirement in Englewood FL, golfing, entertaining, traveling and spending time with grandchildren.

Marie and Si will be interred in North Hero, Vermont where they spent many family summer vacations on Lake Champlain.

Marie leaves us with a heavy heart but with many cherished memories.
