Marie Anne Stroud (1977-2025)
Marie was a kind, loving, and generous mother. She devoted her life to raising her children and with love and integrity. Her three children provided her with purpose and the will to continue her fight until the end. Marie Anne Stroud, 48, of Tampa, Fl, passed way at Tampa General Hospital on November 17th, 2025. After struggling with lung and heart issues for years, until she lost her battle and left us peacefully, surrounded by some of her closest friends and family.
Marie was born in the Tampa/Lakeland area in 1977, and was later adopted by Glenda and Louise Klar. Marie grew up with three brothers, Mike, Matt, and Mark. Growing up in the Tampa Bay area she attended Hillsborough High School. She then married Michael Stroud and gave birth to her first son Sean. After her and Michael separated, she met her long term partner John Hanley. Marie and John had two beautiful little girls, Hailey and Cheyanne. John struggled with kidney issues and left us in 2020. This was difficult for Marie but her children gave her the strength she needed to work hard to provide for them the best she could.
Marie is survived by her three children, Sean (Shelby) Stroud, Hailey Hanley, and Cheyanne Hanley, as well her as three brothers, Mike Klar, Matt Klar, and Mark Klar, and her parents Glenda and Louise Klar. A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Marie soon.
