1927 - 2025

Marjorie M. Dahlman (Floberg), aged 98, entered into heaven on September 24, 2025, in Maplewood, Minnesota. She was born to Paul and Bertina Nelson on May 28, 1927, in Caledonia, MN and grew up on the family farm in Money Creek, MN. Marge graduated from Houston High School in 1945, where she served as Vice President of her class. Marge furthered her education with an Associate of Arts Degree from Bethel College and a degree in nursing from Mounds Midway School of Nursing.
Marge married Neal Floberg in 1950 and dedicated much of her life to her role as a pastor's wife and homemaker, supporting her family with love, exceptional cooking, and warm hospitality. She was an active and vibrant member of several congregations throughout her life, including First Baptist Church in Sturgeon Bay, WI; Calvary Baptist Church in Warren, PA; Salem Baptist in Eau Claire, WI; Elim Baptist in Anoka, MN; Grace Church in Lakeland, FL and First Baptist Church in Cambridge, MN.
Known for her generosity and strong faith, Marge was also an avid host of Sunday dinners, a master of couponing, and loved baking "Grandma Cookies" for her family and guests. Her life was marked by a profound commitment to her faith and to creating a loving and welcoming home for both her immediate and extended family.
The extended family began at the age of 83 when Marge married Willis Dahlman. With so much yet to give it was no surprise that Marge would gather the families together for many events over their 13 years together including an all- expense paid "get acquainted" trip for 19 of us to where else but Disney World!
Marjorie is survived by her sons, David Floberg(Catherine) of Circle Pines, MN, and Bruce Dahlman(Kate) of Grand Marais, MN; daughter Lorene Brown(Doug) of Berthoud, CO; foster daughter Nancy Bottomley of Platteville, WI, foster son Jimmy LeRoy of Muncie, IN; grandchildren Nick (Bri), Marissa (Jerry), Dillon, Erik (Mizuho), Ryan (Katie), Kaari (Zachary), Kevin, Cherry (Joe), Lisa (Chuck); and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Neal Floberg and Willis Dahlman; daughter Meredith True; and siblings Eleanore Egland, Persis Ask, and Phyllis Nelson.
A Service to celebrate Mom's life will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at First Baptist Church, 304 Main St S, Cambridge, MN at 11:00 AM, with visitation an hour before and a luncheon to follow. Interment will take place on Sunday, October 26th, at Swede Bottom Cemetery, Houston, MN, at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure in memory of Marge. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

"For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain."
