Mark Alan Trullinger

Mark Alan Trullinger, aged 72, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Portland, OR. Born on January 19, 1953, Mark spent his life devoted to understanding the human mind and spirit, achieving a Master's Degree in Psychology from Portland State University in 1979 and an Advanced Certificate in Hypnotherapy in 1976.
Mark's career was marked by his profound insight and dedication to helping others, utilizing his expertise in psychology and hypnotherapy to guide and support. He was a pillar of strength, known for his wise and thoughtful nature, and his wonderful sense of humor brought light to many lives.
An active member of the Greater Portland Bible Church, Mark's faith was a cornerstone of his life, influencing his approach to both his personal and professional relationships. He was loving, kind, and generous, always faithful to those he cared for. His intuitive nature made him a cherished husband, father, and friend.
Mark's passions extended beyond his professional life. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed cross-country skiing, rock climbing, backpacking, and camping. His love for performing music and audio production allowed him to express his creative side and share his talents with those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Trullinger; son, John Trullinger; grandchildren, Kevin Shreve, Henry Shuman, and Eleanor Shuman; brother, Steven Trullinger; and sister, Laurie Jacques. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Maureen Trullinger.
A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at the Greater Portland Bible Church, located at 2374 SW Vermont St, Portland, Oregon, 97219. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Portland Church Global Partnership Fund, honoring Mark's commitment to his faith and community. Mark's legacy of wisdom, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
