Mary Ann Healey

Mary Ann Healey (Lewczak), age 60, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the city where she was born and spent her life.

Born on December 20, 1964, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Mary Ann was the beloved daughter of the late John S. Lewczak and Regina J. Lewczak. She was also preceded in death by her uncle, Reverend Thomas J. Lewczak.

Mary Ann dedicated her professional life to the field of medical billing and coding. Her career included positions at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center until health issues forced her into early retirement. Her commitment to her work reflected her intelligence and diligence—qualities that were evident to all who knew her.

Known for her big personality and generous spirit, Mary Ann had a gift for storytelling that brought laughter and joy to those around her. She was a smart and caring person who would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Barbara Ramis DeAyreflor and her husband Axel, and Joanne Johannis and her husband Jim; her son Thomas; her niece and Goddaughter Veronica Johannis; and nephew James Johannis. She is also survived by numerous Aunts & Uncles, nieces and nephews and friends who will cherish their memories of time spent with her.

Mary Ann’s warmth, humor, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.



No public service will be held at this time but a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
