Mary Christine James

Mary Christine James (Chris) was brought into this world on November 24, 1956 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to her parents Jesse and Carolyn Jean Fountain-James.
Chris grew up in Maumee, Ohio and lived with her grandparents Bus and Chris Watson and attended Maumee schools graduating Maumee High School in 1975.

Chris went to college and worked as a bartender for many years and was also a manager at Best Buy, BP Oil company, & TJ MAXX corporation. In 2004, Chris met Rick Hipp who became the love of her life and they were inseparable. Rick traveled for Schindler Elevator for years and Chris often traveled with him and together they saw a lot of the US from Honolulu to New York City and everything in between. Chris and Rick both retired in 2023 and settled in Tulsa, OK where it didn't take Chris long to make many, many friends. That was the way Chris was, she always made friends no matter where she was or what she was doing.

Chris departed, leaving her eternal soulmate Rick Hipp of Tulsa, OK, sister Sheri of Toledo, OH, brother Glenn of Toledo OH, sister Brooke and her husband Tracy from Toledo area, and is now joining her brother Keith who passed 4 years earlier.
