Matthew Ryan Cann

Matthew Ryan Cann, 42, of Melrose Park, Illinois, passed away on October 10th, 2025. Born on April 6th, 1983, Matt devoted his life to his family, his passion for the outdoors, and his love of sports.
A cherished family man, Matt was the beloved husband of Jaclyn, and the loving father of Addison (21), Paige (18), Caleb (14), and April (13). He is survived by his parents, Lonna Bentley and William Cann. Matt was a pillar of strength and support, always putting his family first and fostering a home filled with love and laughter.
Professionally, Matt managed a quick lube shop, where he was respected for his work ethic and leadership. His hobbies included driving his dream car, a Dodge Charger, camping, fishing, bowling, or watching a Packers or Cubs game with friends and family.
A celebration of Matt's life will be held at a future date. His warmth, generosity, and spirited personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
