Matthew Jeffrey Rupert

Matthew Rupert passed away on October 25, 2025, in Alcoa, Tennessee, at the age of 36. His vibrant spirit and boundless energy left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Matthew embraced life with open arms and a joyful heart. Whether wake surfing across sunlit waters, immersed in gaming adventures, or enjoying quiet moments hunting, fishing, or grilling with loved ones, he found happiness in every corner of life. His laughter was contagious, his presence magnetic—a soul who brought warmth and fun wherever he went.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Kathyran and a proud father to Maverick, Ruby, Scarlett, Sawyer, Silas, Sarah, Andrew, and Sadie—all of Alcoa. He also leaves behind his mother Shirley Rupert; father Jeff Rupert and stepmother Connie Rupert; sister Megan; and niece and nephew Chayce and Meah.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 1st, 2025 at Everett Hills Baptist Church (401 S Everett High Rd., Maryville, TN), followed by a celebration of Matthew’s life at 2:30 p.m.
Though his time was far too short, Matthew's light burned brightly—his memory will echo in the laughter of his children and live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
