Mercy Colon (Manfro) Auer passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones and caregivers. She spent her life working for sewing factories in NYC and here in Kingston, NY, FL Russel, Rotron, Ferroxacube, and in her later years as a nanny and caregiver. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Manfro, her second husband, Thomas W. Auer, and many siblings. She came here with her family, from Dominican Republic in 1948 and became a US citizen. She had a total of 12 siblings. She is survived by her remaining sister, Miriam Osterhoudt, her children; Anson Manfro Sr (Tricia), Jim Manfro, Phillip Manfro, Mercy Lee (Thomas), and Thomas Auer (Laurie) and many grand children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She had a private burial as per her wishes through Buono Funeral Services of Saugerties, NY. She loved her family, and life. She was well loved. God rest her soul
