Michael George Faubel

Michael George Faubel, of Palos Heights, Illinois, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, October 13. He devoted his life to his family — beloved husband of Sandy; loving father of Michelle (late Mike) Paukstis, Jen (Scott) Baker, and Melissa (Matt) Johnson; proud Pops of Max, Chloe, Cooper, Claudia, Payton, Kennedy, Cameron, Mackenzie, Clare, and Charley; cherished brother of Lynn (late Richard) Joiner, late Cindy Faubel, and Tom (Barb) Faubel; treasured uncle and cousin to many, loved by his extended family, and adoring Pops to seven granddogs.

Mike was a warm and gentle soul, remembered for his kindness, humor, and generous heart. He had a gift for bringing laughter and light to every room.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 11am at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 S. McCarthy Road, Palos Heights, IL. Celebration to follow at The Barrel Club, 4910 W. 111th Street, Oak Lawn, from 12-3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Research Foundation at https://acpmp.org/.
