Michael Charles Nadason, 63, of Godley, TX, passed away on October 22, 2025 in Arlington, TX. Born on January 26, 1962, Michael dedicated his life to his passions and his family, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Michael graduated from Ontario High School in 1980, and later earned a BAS from Wayland Baptist in Wichita Falls, TX. His career was marked by significant contributions to the medical field, particularly in radiology. Michael served as the Radiology Director at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital in Arlington, Texas.
In addition to his professional life, Michael served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Master Sgt after 21 years of service, from January 28, 1981, to July 1, 2002. His military career was distinguished by his commitment to excellence and education in radiology. His work extended beyond administrative duties; he was instrumental in instructing radiology students and authored several instructional manuals during his tenure.
Michael's hobbies and interests painted the picture of a man deeply engaged with life. He was an avid runner, maintaining his commitment to physical fitness throughout his life. His athletic pursuits included cycling, competing in triathlons, an Iron Man, weightlifting, and countless marathons. Beyond sports, Michael had a profound love for music, amassing a significant collection of vinyl records, and was also a car enthusiast, recently acquiring a classic VW. His extensive Hot Wheels collection was a source of joy and pride.
Michael leaves behind his wife of 14 years, Crystal, and his children, Michaela Nadason, and stepsons PJ, Rusty, and Olen West. He is also survived by daughters Krysten Humphrey and Nicole Nispel; stepfather Jim Marshall; mother-in-law Ann Marshall; sister Michelle Beier and her husband John; nephews Geoff Baumberger, and Brad Baumberger with his wife Brit and daughters Brynn Combs & Burke Martin; great-nieces Lilly & Joselyn Beier; along with a host of other relatives and friends who cherished him deeply. His mother Barbara Marshall, brother Matthew Nadason, father Michael C. Nadason I, and father-in-law David Marshall preceded him in death.
Michael's commitment to education and healthcare will continue posthumously as his body has been donated to the UNT Health Science Center willed body program, aiding the training of future healthcare professionals.
Michael will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for his character; a runner, music lover, shoe enthusiast, and above all, a beloved husband, father, friend, and mentor. His legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew him and the many lives he touched.
