Michael Lee Stewart

Michael L. Stewart passed away peacefully in Oak Hill, Virginia on October 11, 2025. Born to Lee and Elsie May Stewart on August 11, 1949, in Houston Texas, Mike earned his Doctorate in experimental psychology from the University of Texas, Austin (Hook 'em Horns). He retired in 2014 after 35 years of service to the U.S. Government as an organizational psychologist.

In his mid-years he was a scuba diver, piloted Cessnas and owned a sailboat with his former brother-in-law. After retirement, he turned toward more creative pursuits and with his wife, Jean, focused on travel, cooking, and family genealogy. His talent for digital image editing was evident when he helped co-edit the quarterly journal for Clan McAlister of America. He also refreshed their website and loved every minute of his membership. He was a friend to all.
