Nancy Louise Andrews Johnson, born August 25th, 1941, lovingly known as “Cookie,” age 84, of Pinehurst, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Curtis Andrews and Mattie Beatrice Tate Andrews, her sister, Beatrice Alene Andrews Bock, and, her brother, John Curtis Andrews.
Nancy received her education at El Dorado High School in El Dorado, Arkansas and went on to dedicate more than 30 years to a career in health care administration. Alongside her professional life, her most cherished role was being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Nancy was admired for her sense of style and was well known for her love of football, Houston TX sports teams—especially the Astros, love of animals—especially dogs, along with her passion for shopping and good food. With a warm heart, quick wit, and kind spirit, she brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Phillip Johnson; her son, Phillip Johnson Jr.; her grandchildren, Inka Harvey and Niki Allinger; and her great-grandchildren, Aurora Lumi and Callum Allinger; and, many extended family members and friends.
Nancy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in her life
