Nick, 36, of Colorado Springs, born on September 20, 1989, passed away on October 5, 2025.
Nick made life brighter just by being in the room. His laugh was contagious, and his smile could lift anyone's mood. When he was around, there was always teasing, laughter, and a joke that left everyone smiling.
He is deeply loved and missed by his parents, Duane and Joyce, his sister JoLynne, brother-in-law J.D., nieces Tiffany and Lauren, his two puppy nephews, and his two puppy siblings. He also leaves behind many friends and extended family who adored him.
Nick worked for the United States Postal Service for 10 years, where he made lasting friendships. Outside of work, he was always up for anything fun. He loved being outsidey but not outdoorsy, spending his time watching anime and cartoons. A loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and LA Dodgers, he hated missing a game. His walls were covered in Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey posters, and his phone was full of pictures of random dogs he met along the way. He loved collecting Pokémon cards, going to concerts, and taking his nieces on adventures. Music was always a big part of his life, he was known to drop the perfect song lyric or movie quote at just the right moment. He also swore he made the best collard greens around, and no one ever argued with him on that.
Nick had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and valued. He cared deeply and brought light and laughter wherever he went. His presence filled our lives with joy, and his memory will always do the same. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Nick's life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Prost,

Northglenn, Colorado 80234.
