Nick Charles Navarro, 87, passed away peacefully with family at his side on November 11, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on January 27, 1938, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Nick brought joy and music to countless lives through his vibrant spirit and enduring passion for entertainment.

A proud Italian Catholic born to Rose Elizabeth and John Battitsa Navarro. Nick also shared a beautiful Heritage life with his brother, Charles Vincent (Bunny) Navarro, and his wife, Debbie Maria. Nick was deeply rooted in family and tradition. He shared 32 years of marriage with Sylvia Ann Douglas, with whom they raised four children: John Navarro, Nick Navarro Jr., Roseanette Navarro, and Francine Navarro. He had four beautiful grandchildren, Alexandra Berry, Preston Williams, Kelsey Williams, and Caitlyn Corral. His family was the heart of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Nick’s love for music was not just a hobby—it was a calling. A gifted accordion player and singer, he founded and led the beloved "Nick Navarro Orchestra," which became a staple at Italian weddings and ballroom dance clubs across Houston. His orchestra wasn’t just a band; it was a celebration of culture, community, and joy. Through every note played and every song sung, Nick created memories that will live on in the hearts of those who danced to his music.

In addition to his musical accomplishments, his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication as a trail blazing real-estate developer, allowed him to build thriving careers in several ventures while continuing to pursue his artistic passions. Whether closing deals or performing on stage, Nick approached life with enthusiasm and an unwaveringly positive attitude.

Those who knew him remember a man full of life—someone who lit up every room he entered with laughter, warmth, and melody. His legacy is one of resilience, creativity, and love—a legacy that will continue through the lives he touched.

Nick is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved mother and father, Rose Elizabeth and John Battista. Though he has left this world, his spirit endures in the music he made and the memories shared by all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by family and many others whose lives were brightened by his presence.
