Mrs. Nicole Ofenlock, 52, passed away on November 15, 2025, in Elgin, Illinois. Born on June 28, 1973, in Park Ridge, Illinois, Nicole lived a vibrant and spirited life that touched many.
Nicole graduated from Conant High School and later pursued her passion for caregiving by completing her training as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her dedication to helping others was evident not only in her professional life but also in the way she cared deeply for those around her.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Albert Charles; her sons, Kody and Austin Walker; and her brother, Mike Ofenlock. Mom, Katie Ofenlock and Father, Val Ofenlock, Nicole's family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Nicole was predeceased by her Uncle John Scodino, cousins TJ Hines and Vince Puccio; and her grandmother Mary Dalessandro. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Nicole had a zest for life that was impossible to ignore. She loved music and movies, found joy in collecting stuffed animals, and adored caring for her cats and fish. Her personality was as bold as it was kind—funny, compassionate, honest, loud, outgoing, and delightfully "crazy" in the best sense of the word. She embraced life fully and brought laughter and warmth wherever she went.
A funeral service to honor Nicole's life will be held in South Barrington , Illinois.
