**Nora Bell Cotton**
December 29, 1939 – October 15, 2025

Nora Bell Cotton, formerly Nora Bell Andrews, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Miramar, Florida, at the age of 85. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and woman of unwavering faith, Nora leaves behind a legacy of compassion, service, and love for her family.

Born on December 29, 1939, in Asheville, North Carolina, Nora was the daughter of Willie Andrews and Lois Colquit Andrews. Guided by strong values of faith and family from a young age, she carried these principles throughout her life.

Nora dedicated over 35 years to her work in the medical field and as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Twin Pines Care Center. Her career was a reflection of her deep commitment to caring for others with dignity and kindness.

A member of the First Apostolic Church, Akron, Ohio. Nora found strength and purpose in her spiritual life. Her favorite hymn, “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” offered her comfort and hope through life’s joys and challenges.

Nora cherished her family deeply. She shared a close bond with her son James K. Love Jr. (Crystal Jerels). Her grandchildren are Ashlee N. Love, Alicia N. Love, James K. Love III (Rachael Gauthier), Kelly L. Love, and Jacob J. Love; stepson Jay B. Love; and six great-grandchildren. She cherished the memories of her late sister, Annie Lois Smith, and is fondly remembered by her brother, William Mac McAndrews (Juanicki); her beloved niece Kim Lee (Rex); a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrews Sr. and Lois (Colquit) Andrews, husband Lee Cotton, first husband James K Love Sr., and sisters Annie Lois Smith and Fannie Lois Jacobs.

Her final words to her family reflect the depth of her love:
“Son, you were the sunshine in my life... I love you. Now I must rest in peace till we meet again.”

Nora’s Private Memorial Tribute will be held on November 9, 2025.
