Noveritte Timothy (Tim) DeLavallade, Sr.

Noveritte Timothy "Tim" DeLavallade, Sr, 80, was born on January 7, 1945, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Irving Sr. and Lillie Mae DeLavallade. Tim lived a life marked by hard work, humor, and devotion to family and traveling.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and true "Jack of All Trades," passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Tim will be remembered for his love of family, laughter, and life—a protector, provider, and friend to all who knew him.

Arrangements will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, located at 5621 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation is from 9 AM to 11 AM. The celebration of life service will begin promptly at 11 AM, followed by the interment at Holt Cemetery located at 527 City Park Ave., New Orleans, LA 70119.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Constance "Connie" Dalcour DeLavallade; his children, both biological and of the heart; Tammy, Troy, Noveritte Jr., Patrice, Kai, Donnis, Shannon, Dwan, and Shana.
Sisters Deborah Tillery (Leroy) and Lillie Fleury (Eric); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving Joseph DeLavallade, Sr., and Lillie Brown DeLavallade, siblings Irving, Jr., Dwight, Sr., Gwendolyn, Charles, and Rodney.
