Oscar Clinton “Clint” Kinsey Jr., 51, passed away on October 26, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida.
Born on August 9, 1974, in Tallahassee, Florida, Clint was a devoted Christian. He graduated from Rickards High School and continued his education at Florida State University, where he strengthened his lifelong connection to the Seminoles and laid the groundwork for a life centered around family and community.
Clint is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kris; his daughters, Alex and Maddie; his mother, Betty Kinsey; his sisters Sandra (Robin) Crosby and Michelle (Ace) Lashley; nephew Travis (Lauren) Crosby; nieces Shelby Lashley and Danielle Lashley; great nephew Elijah Crosby and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Clinton Kinsey Sr.
A devoted husband and father, Clint embraced each role in life with enthusiasm and heart. Whether cheering from the sidelines as a swim dad, supporting performances as a band dad, golfing, participating in mission work or training for endurance events, he was always present—encouraging, proud, and deeply involved in the lives of his daughters, family and friends.
Clint’s warmth, humor, compassion and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
A service will be held on November 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Skycrest United Methodist Church, 2045 Drew Street, Clearwater, FL.
