Pamela Dawn Coleman (Platt)
age 67, passed away from a short battle with cancer on November 5, 2025 in Bear Delaware. She was born February 22, 1958 in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
Pam was married to her best friend David C Coleman for 20 years .
She is survived by her husband, David Coleman, her brother, William Platt, and her sister Margaret "Sis" Lynch and countless friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents, James and Pamela Platt. Her siblings, Kenny Platt, Arthur Platt, Nancy Coats,Joyce, Wanda (Frank) Valenti, Kathy, Coates, and Ronnie Platt.
Pam and Dave made their home in Bear Delaware. Pam worked for 30 years at Wawa, located on route 40 and Salem Church Road. Her genuine affection for her regular customers made her a familiar and cherished presence. Pam had a way of making everyone feel welcome, known for her free spirit and infectious zest for life. Pam embraced joy wherever she went and shared it freely with those around her. A true hippie at heart. She had a deep love her Janis Joplin music, a soundtrack that matched her natural untamed spirit always the life of the party. Her laughter could light up any room and her presence left an indelible mark on all that knew her.
Pam's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the countless lives she touched. May her spirit continue to inspire peace and love wherever it is remembered.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
