Patricia Ann Pickens passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 83 in Madison Heights, MI. Born on February 9, 1942, Patricia dedicated many years to her roles as a cashier and in clerical work, where she was appreciated for her diligence and kindness.
A loving mother and grandmother, Patricia is survived by her daughters, Tracy (David) Sutherland and Kelly (Roger) Greger; and her grandchildren, Kyle (Meghan) Greger, Devin Greger, Sarah (Dylan) Hodell, Dalton Sutherland, and Shelby Sutherland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Edward Gaffka; her brothers, Eugene and Edward Gaffka; and her sisters, Gari Sumpter and Denise Bence.
Patricia found joy in reading, a hobby that provided her with immense pleasure and tranquility throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Patricia may be made to St. Jude, an organization she deeply supported.
