Patricia Ann (Cummings) Schnobrich passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 88 years.
She is preceded in death by sibling Merle, husband Leon, and son Tony. Survived by siblings Bob Cummings and Jeanne Holmberg; children Patty Joy, Vicky (Kevin) Carey, Toby (Jennifer), and Bill (Julie); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was born on March 24, 1937, to Robert and E. Vivian Cummings, and grew up on a dairy farm in New Brighton, Minnesota. She married Leon Schnobrich in 1956. Pat was actively involved in her church her whole life. Along with attending Bible studies, she also served on a variety of ministry teams, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, was a delegate to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and brought her homemade baked goods to many events. Everyone loved her cookies and pies. Patricia created beautiful crochet work, was an excellent seamstress and quilter, and often made dolls, hats, scarves and mittens for the children's ministry. She was well-known for her kindness and willingness to serve.
Patricia took pride in a job well-done, and was proud of her work at the post office and insurance company, along with her role in helping to build their four houses, taking part in many aspects of the construction. Patricia maintained a beautiful flower garden, and a tidy and welcoming home. She loved watching and cheering on the Minnesota Twins, enjoyed dancing, singing hymns, and having coffee with friends.
Patricia dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She was a cherished mom and grandma. She also loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and is now in the presence of her King.
Well done, good and faithful servant. We shall see you again.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
John 3:16
