In Loving Memory of Patrick Timothy Cramer
After decades of pain, Pat passed away on October 13, 2025. He is finally at peace.
Pat was born March 25, 1957, in Glendale, CA. to Jeanne & Kenneth Cramer. He was raised in La Canada, CA. At a young age he could often be found racing through the neighborhood on a motorcycle he'd just finished fixing, surrounded by his closest buddies. Pat was athletic, and excelled in baseball and football, earning the attention of college recruiters. His sports career was cut short by a broken hip in a motorcycle accident.
Later in his teenage years, Pat joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and served a mission in Florida. He was a faithful member throughout his life, loved to serve, and was always willing to help. His fellow ward members were more than friends-they were truly like family to him.
After returning from his mission he married Peggy Farrar (later divorced). Together they had a son whom he loved deeply throughout his life. Years later, Pat moved to Utah to begin a new chapter in his life. He married Kathy Vest, and was excited to help raise her three kids. He loved to cook, and everyone loved eating his meals!
Pat loved his two brothers. Though they lived far apart, they were quite close. They talked often, and tried to get together every few years. He was so proud of them!
A true handyman, Pat had a talent with tools, and a passion for building. He found satisfaction in working with his hands and creating things.
Endlessly outgoing and friendly, he was always striking up conversations with anyone who would listen. He kept in touch with countless friends made throughout his life.
Above all, Pat loved his Savior, and cherished his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his brothers: Mike (Judy) Cramer, Casey Cramer; wife: Kathy Cramer; Son: Chris Blair (Amanda); stepkids: Lindsay (CJ) George, Ryan (Lizzie) Vest, Kyle (Marie) Vest; grandkids: Gabriel, Stella, Cyrus, Adrian, Kaylee, Rylee, James, George, Oliver; and will be missed by countless friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 25, 11:00 am, at the Bennion Utah Stake Center, 6250 South 2200 West, Taylorsville, UT.
Pat wished to be cremated, no viewing will be held.
A special thanks to all who offered kindness and care during Pat's recent difficult years, especially to his life-long friend Dave. Your love and support have meant the world to us!
