Patsy Popham a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 8,2025 at the age of 83.
She was born in Portales New Mexico, raised in Post Texas, and moved to Fabens Texas in the 1970s where she lived the remainder of her life. Patsy was the embodiment of love and strength. She was the proud and loving mother of four children. She was known for her creativity, sense of humor, and baking. She made the best desserts and never missed anyone’s birthday. She was known for her warm and caring personality. She had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In our hearts she lives on, and we will forever honor the legacy of a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on her community.
She is survived by her children Melinda, Dywayne (Patricia), Dennis, Krista (Letty), her grandchildren Desiree, Adam, Ryan, and her great grandson Jude, her extended grandchildren Emma, Izel, Matthew and her brothers Jackie (Kay) and Dennis (Linda). She was proceeded in death by her husband Ernie and her parents Aubrey and Edna. A memorial service will be held on Thursday November 20, 2025 at 9:00 am-12:30 pm at San Jose Funeral Home Fabens located at 300 main street Fabens Tx 79838. Funeral service to follow at 1:30 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
