Paul Cuccinello, 77, a proud veteran and devoted family man, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on October 22, 2025, in Lake Mary, Florida.

Born on January 1, 1948, in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, Paul was the son of Grace and Anthony Cuccinello. He began his education at St. Phillips Catholic Elementary School and later graduated from Saddle Brook High School. Guided by a strong sense of duty and patriotism, Paul enlisted in the United States Air Force following high school, where he served honorably for four years.

During his time in the Air Force, Paul worked as an aircraft electrician—a role that showcased both his technical skill and dedication to service. His military career reached a notable milestone when he was selected to work on the SR-71 spy plane, one of the most advanced aircraft of its time. This achievement stood as a testament to his expertise and commitment.

After completing his military service, Paul pursued higher education at Newark College of Engineering. There he trained as an electrical engineer, laying the foundation for a successful professional career. He went on to work for over 25 years with GenRad an international electronics company as a field service engineer. Later in life, Paul relocated to Florida where he became a cherished member of the Dan's Fans City team. Known for his warmth, and smile, Paul quickly became beloved by his coworkers and customers.

Paul’s life was deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, which remained a guiding force throughout his life. His devotion to family was equally steadfast. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Covello) Cuccinello, with whom he shared 52 devoted years of marriage. He also leaves behind his son Paul John Cuccinello and daughter-in-law Jeneen; daughter Christina Fowler and son-in-law Tyler; and grandchildren Piper and Graham, who were his pride and joy of his life. Paul is also survived by his brothers, Christopher, Ronald Cuccinello and sister-in-law Gale; along with cousins and several nieces and nephews. Also, devoted family members sister-in-law Lisa (Covello) Garcia and family and preceded by sister-in-law Linda (Covello) Riviello.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved parents Anthony and Grace Cuccinello. A man whose legacy is defined by love for family, service to others, and unwavering integrity, Paul will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
