Paul Matthew Glentz, 46, of Bridgewater, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025 in the loving presence of family. Paul grew up in Midland Park, NJ and went on to receive his Bachelors of Science degree from Rutgers University's School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. He was very active and supportive in his residence community, the Helyar House while at Rutgers as well as throughout his adult life. During Paul's college years, he really grew into his own radiant and beautiful personality making friends wherever life would take him.
Paul lived in Stewartsville, NJ with his best friend, Coryn Casey for several years before moving to his forever home in Bridgewater, NJ. He had a long career as a Quality Control and Production Manager with Trimline Medical.
Paul had a great love for his family and friends. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Gail and Roy Glentz. Paul is survived by his aunts, Godmother Barbara Hamilton of Midland Park, NJ, Joanne Reilly of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Christina Dybacki of Totowa, NJ; his sisters, Laura Higgins with her husband, Ryan of Clinton Township, NJ and Kimberly Romanish with her husband, Anthony of Glenwood, NJ. Paul is also survived by his nieces and nephews who he spoiled and adored, Goddaughter Abigail Higgins, Derek Higgins, Emily Higgins, Hunter Romanish and Andrew Romanish. Paul shared many years of companionship and love with Manfred Cubero of Clinton Township, NJ.
Paul will always be remembered for his contagious laughter, kind and generous spirit, and old soul. His family and friends will feel his presence most when sharing in some of his most beloved past times including gardening with a special love of sunflowers, cooking and sharing recipes, and sun bathing or walking his dog, Preston, on the beach.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 1:00-2:00 pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ridgewood, NJ. Following the service, visitors will be received and refreshments served in the church parlor.
