Peggy Ann Bartosh passed away peacefully at age 88 on October 24, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on August 14, 1937 to parents John and Clara Nichols in San Antonio, Texas, she was the oldest of seven siblings. She married the love of her life, Dennis Bartosh, on September 9, 1956, and together they raised four beloved sons. She worked as a secretary for many years and enjoyed reading mystery novels, playing bunco with friends, and doing crossword puzzles. She was fiercely devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Peggy is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Dennis; her siblings, Jean Nichols, John Nichols, and Jolene Taylor; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Bartosh; and her nieces, Deborah Finley and Lynn Yates. She is survived by her four sons: Larry Bartosh (and his wife Marsha), James Bartosh (and his wife Denise), Thomas Bartosh (and his wife Suzette), and Brian Bartosh (and his wife Genet); her siblings, Patricia Nichols, Bonnie Laskowski, and Preston Nichols; her grandchildren, Roger Bartosh, Jeffrey Bartosh, Brooke Kennel, Audrey Bartosh, Cody Bartosh, Dalton Bartosh, Eli Bartosh, and Kaden Bartosh; her step-grandchildren, Heather Hester, Justin Ferrell, Brittany Burroughs, Cody Skinner, and Tyson Skinner; four great-grandsons (plus one to come); five step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. The family is grateful to Father Cristian of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville, who visited her in the hospital and administered to her the Anointing of the Sick, and the kind staff at Vitas Healthcare Inpatient Hospice Care at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, who took such good care of her in her final days.

Rosary to be held on 11/14/25 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville, TX at 10:30am. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am.
Everyone is invited to a reception immediately following the Mass at the Family Center of Holy Spirit Church. The Graveside Service will be at 3pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park at 6300 S. R L Thornton Fwy Dallas, TX 75232
