Rachel Linnea Richards (née Pauley) went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2025, after a brief illness, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, WV.
Born in St. Albans, WV, Rachel was the cherished daughter of Howard and Lyda Pauley. She was preceded in death by her father and her niece, Tianna Pauley.
Rachel’s memory will be lovingly carried on by her devoted mother, Lyda Pauley; her beloved daughter, Ashley (Leo) Tudela; and her two adored grandchildren, Jonah and Lily. She is also survived by her three older brothers, Roy, Tubby (Cheryl), and Willy Pauley, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her quick-witted humor and thoughtfulness.
Rachel also leaves behind her two treasured dachshunds, Sadie and Noah, who brought her great joy and companionship.
There will be no services at this time.
