Antonio Ramon “Ray” Maniquis Danganan, 73, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025.

Born on July 23, 1952, in Manila, Philippines, Ray lived a vibrant and adventurous life. Ray was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and cheery personality was felt by all.

He is survived by his sons, Sean and his wife Melissa and their daughter Mia; Brandon and his wife Erica and their son Kai; his siblings, Barbara, Marie and Mike; as well as his many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family around the world. He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Danganan.

Ray studied Architectural design at USC and loved his beloved Trojans. He especially loved the USC football team and would travel to many games to meet up with his lifelong friends.

He was a dedicated lifelong public servant to the Federal Government. He was an avid tennis player and taught tennis professionally in Europe in his younger years. Ray loved to travel, live music and comedy shows, skiing the European Alps, riding his bike to the lake in Baker Park with his dog Adobo, and volunteering for the Citi Open and Awesome Con.

He will be truly missed, may his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local food bank this holiday season.
