Randall (Randy) Gray

Randy Gray, 77, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, in Parma, Idaho. He was the first-born son of Aubrey and Marjorie Gray. Randy married the love of his life, Jane, on February 21, 1970.

Randy had a passion working on anything with a motor. He started his career as an aviation mechanic. Eventually he and Jane moved to Glenns Ferry where he worked for Farm Development Corporation as a mechanic and raised their two daughters.

Randy enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and camping adventures with family and friends. He found joy in simple pleasures—working in his yard with pride, savoring a great meal, and cheering on BSU football and basketball.

At home and beyond, Randy was known for his gentle spirit and kind heart. There was nothing Randy enjoyed more than being around family and friends, telling funny stories and listening to the laughter. He was known for his funny quips - ones that his family will laugh about for years to come.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife Jane; daughters Kristy (Greg) Dockstader and Katie (David) Gries; grandchildren Kyra, Gavin, Anthony, Dakotah, and Hunter. He was a proud grandfather whose love for his grandchildren was unwavering. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Marjorie Gray and grandsons Bryce Dockstader and Chase Gries.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held on October 10, 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Ten Davis Hall, 23897 Ten Davis Rd, Parma. We invite you to gather and enjoy Randy's favorite food and dessert as we celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Hodia (www.hodia.org/donate), a camp for children with diabetes that played an important role in his grandson's childhood—a cause close to Randy's heart.
