Reb Brown passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025 at the Maine Veteran's Home in Bangor, Maine. Reb retired from the Marine Corps following 24 years of dedicated service. He served during the Vietnam War, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. Following his USMC retirement, Reb enjoyed several years working as a golf professional at courses in Florida and Maine. He was an avid golfer and military racquetball champ who loved and played various sports over the years. He was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox. Reb is survived by his wife Deborah of 23 years , sons Shawn Brown and Ryan Brown, stepchildren Chad Lippincott and Brittany McAllister, their spouses, grandchildren Noah, Abel, Collin, Riley, Perry and Peyton. He is survived by his brothers and their wives Glenn and Marilyn Brown, Mitchell and Marcia Brown, Michael Brown, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. He was predeceased by his parents Dianne and Cecil Armstrong, father David Brown, sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Richard Bowden, and sisters Cheryl Peckham, Dawn Allenwood and Carla Brown. Reb will be laid to rest at Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine at a date and time to be announced. A celebration of life will occur in the spring or summer of 2026. Details to be provided at a later date. He, and his wonderful sense of humor, will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. He is now golfing with angels.
