Refugia Ferrazas Watson, age 57, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in Bryan, Texas. Born on July 27, 1968, also in Bryan, she remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped her life.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Refugia's life was centered around love—for her family, her faith, and the many people whose lives she touched. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Martin Watson; her daughter Daniele Robinson and son-in-law James Robinson; her daughter Refugia Watson; her son Martin Watson II and daughter-in-law Megan Watson. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Emma, EllaRae, Isaiah, Heath, Addison, Kaitlyn, Martin III, Scarlette, Zaybrey, and Melanie.
Refugia was one of thirteen siblings and leaves behind twelve beloved brothers and sisters. She also held a special place in the hearts of numerous nieces and nephews. Her spiritual friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bryan were equally dear to her. She tried to live each day guided by spiritual principles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josue and Refugia Ferrazas, as well as her mother-in-law Queenie Sanchez.
Refugia had a remarkable talent for working with her hands. Whether sewing intricate patterns, crafting beautiful jewelry pieces, or expressing herself through drawing, she found joy in creating. These passions were more than hobbies—they were expressions of love that she often shared with those around her.
Above all else, Refugia loved spending time with her family. Her warmth and kindness created a home filled with laughter and lasting memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her memorial service will be on Friday, November 14th at The Best Western Premier Hotel: 1920 Austins Colony Pkwy., Bryan Tx 77802, at 5:30pm.
