Richard Stephen Kehler

Richard Stephen Kehler, age 69, of New Hope, PA, passed away on July 16, 2025 due to recent health complications.

He was born in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania in 1956 to Harold C. Kehler and Gloria H. Wolfe. Richard attended Upper Darby High School before moving to New England and going into the retail business.

In his earlier years, Richard enjoyed taking trips up the eastern seacoast, fishing, and camping. He was also a fan of the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles. In his later years, Richard found his wonderful life partner, Karla, with whom he was able to share his seacoast journeys and love of football.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved partner: Karla L. Dolan, brother: Stephen R. Kehler, parents: Harold C. Kehler and Gloria H. Wolfe, and his stepparents: Earl A. Wolfe and Elizabeth L. Kehler. He is survived by his 3 children: Christopher R. Kehler, Jennifer V. Benton (Tyler M. Benton), and Michael G. Kehler; grandchildren: Scarlette R. Benton and Lydia R. Benton; and siblings: Glenn A. Kehler-Ricci and Joyce M. Kline. Richard is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

There will be an intimate graveside service for family members on November 1, 2025 at the Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, PA.
