With deep regret we announce the death of Richard Albert Williams, who died on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the age of 80. A man of deep faith, kindness, and serene strength, he died in peace in his residence, surrounded by his family in El Paso, Texas.
Born in El Paso, TX, on March 8, 1945, Richard was the son of the late Doris and Minnie Williams. After serving his country during the Vietnam War and being honorably discharged, Richard devoted his life to serving others through his work with the church, countless hours of coaching young baseball players, and giving back to those in need. Richard enjoyed feeding people his famous brisket, but more importantly Richard was a man dedicated to his family. Richard is survived by his children:
Pamela Yvette Armendariz (Jimmy Armendariz), Jonathan Albert Williams, and Allison Denise Traylor
His grandchildren:
Andrew Jonathan Williams (Alexa Darling), Marquis Deshey Traylor, Micah Duvayne Traylor (Nicole Okon), Corwyn Armendariz (Alexandria Armendariz), Milanni Deziree Traylor, and Tristan Aiden Williams
His great grandchildren:
Lukas James Williams, Azreal Armendariz, Azarius Preacher Armendariz, and Zya Yvette Williams
His ex-wife:
Patte Williams
