Robert Doell

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert K. Doell announces his passing on September 18, 2025, in Medford, Oregon, following a severe infection and related complications.

Robert was born and raised in Chadron, Nebraska, and was drafted into military service during the Vietnam War. After returning stateside, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge, and went on to build a successful career in the mortgage banking industry. Following retirement, he continued his education and obtained a Master's degree from Tiffin University.

A voracious reader, gifted teacher and speaker, and lifelong learner, Robert had an insatiable curiosity about the world and the people in it. He was an independent thinker and a man of wisdom and empathy—someone you could always turn to for advice, a history lesson, or simply a thoughtful conversation.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Jeanne, and children, Chuck and Matthew, and their families.

Robert will be laid to rest at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Oregon. Details on a memorial service to come in 2026.

Rest in peace, dear man—you were deeply loved, and your wisdom and faith will continue to guide us.
