Robert J Lynch

Robert "Bubba" Lynch, age 67, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, in Eagle, WI. He was born April 19, 1958, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late James and Dorothy (Knickles) Lynch. Robert was united in marriage to Lisa Premetz on February 14, 1987, in Bay View, WI. Robert lived a life marked by dedication to his work, service to his country, and deep love for his family.
A proud graduate of Boys Tech High School, Robert began his professional journey as a Maintenance Mechanic. From 1979 to1996, he worked diligently through the ranks of Maintenance Mechanic 1, 2, and 3. In 1996, he advanced to the role of Building and Grounds Superintendent - a position he held with pride and commitment until his retirement in 2015. He was awarded the USAF, Air Mobility Command, Inspector General's Excellence coin in June of 2003 for Excellence in Inspection. His strong work ethic and practical skills left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
In addition to his civilian career, Robert served honorably in the Wisconsin Air National Guard from 1976 -1991 as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. His years of military service reflected his sense of duty and discipline.
He volunteered with the Eagle Fire Department as a firefighter, EMT, and Deputy Chief.
Robert found joy in many pursuits outside of work. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, and bowler who relished time spent on the green or at the lanes. Traveling brought him happiness and adventure -experiences he cherished throughout his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisa Lynch, daughter, Melissa Schuh, son, Adam (Ashley) Lynch, three grandsons, Levi, Elijah, and Asher Lynch, his siblings, Kathy Vestrem, James "Butch" (Bonnie) Lynch, Tom Lynch, Mike Lynch, Mary (Rick) Vega, Pat (Zoe) Polewczynski, Barb (Matt) Malinauskas, many loving nieces, nephews, numerous friends and former colleagues whose lives were touched by his kindness.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Lynch, sister, Sue Rice, half-brother, James W. Lynch, and brother-in-law Craig Vestrem.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Mt. Zion Christian Church in Lake Geneva, WI. A Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until service time Saturday at the church. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
