In Loving Memory of Robert Mabery
It is with immeasurable love and profound sadness that we share the passing of Robert Mabery, beloved husband, brother, friend, mentor, and musician, who left this world peacefully on October 29, 2025 at the age of 62.
Robert was born in Germany and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. Throughout his life, he embodied kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength. He was a man whose calm spirit drew others in and whose words had the power to heal and inspire.
For more than twenty-six years, Robert shared an extraordinary bond with his wife and soulmate, Rosanna. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, music, and adventure. Their connection was one that others often admired, a partnership grounded in devotion and mutual understanding. They loved traveling to new cities, exploring local restaurants, and, most of all, experiencing live music together.
Robert’s professional journey began humbly as a truck driver in the construction industry, where his determination and leadership carried him through multiple levels of management. Yet, beyond his career, his truest calling was found in music and mentorship.
A lifelong musician, Robert played bass guitar with countless bands and musical projects over the years. He was the steady rhythm at the heart of every song; a grounding presence who brought musicians together and inspired them to create. His home studio was a haven for creativity and friendship, a place where laughter, collaboration, and the pulse of music filled the air.
Robert had a rare gift for understanding people. Friends and loved ones often turned to him for guidance, comfort, and clarity. He never offered judgment, only thoughtful questions and gentle wisdom that helped others find their own answers.
Those fortunate enough to know him will remember his intelligence, compassion, humor, and unwavering kindness. His generosity of spirit touched so many lives, leaving an imprint that will continue to resonate for years to come.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and loved ones will gather for a musical jam session in his honor, a fitting tribute to a man whose life was filled with harmony, connection, and love.
In a letter written to Rosanna shortly before his passing, Robert shared these words:
“As I write this in a stream of conscience, I’m at peace and extremely happy. Whether we have days, months, or years, I’m at peace. Very few people will ever be able to have what we have. Even less will know it while it is happening. I love you so deeply and feel it back from you all the time.”
His words reflect the essence of who Robert was - grateful, grounded, and full of love. He will be forever missed and endlessly remembered by those whose lives he touched.
