Robert Michael “Mike” Pearce
December 8, 1964 - September 15, 2025
Beloved Friend, BBQ Master, and Lifelong Raider Nation Member
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Pearce of Pleasanton, California, who left earth and embarked on his final journey on September 15, 2025. Mike was a true original — fiercely loyal, endlessly generous, and deeply loved by his family and a wide circle of close friends.
Mike lived life on his own terms. His smoked ribs were legendary — the kind that sparked rivalries, friendships, and second helpings. He had a super power for bringing people together, whether it was at a backyard BBQ, a tailgate, or listening to live music.
A die-hard Raiders fan, Mike wore silver and black with pride and never missed a game, no matter the season or the score. His love of music was another passion — from classic rock to hip-hop, jazz to country, Mike found joy in every genre and could often be found at live shows surrounded by friends, feeling the beat and sharing the moment.
Professionally, Mike spent many years as a deeply respected service writer at Mercedes-Benz, where his knowledge, honesty, and commitment to excellent customer care built lasting relationships. He was the go-to guy, not just for car advice, but for a good laugh and a solid story.
In his younger years, Mike embraced the great outdoors. He loved skiing down fresh powder and strapping on a backpack to explore mountain trails. Those adventures formed the foundation of a lifelong appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures.
Mike’s circle of close friends was a testament to the kind of man he was — someone who showed up, stood by you, and made life better just by being in it.
He will be remembered for his big heart, booming laugh, hysterical jokes and the unmistakable smell of his famous ribs on the smoker drifting through a summer evening.
Mike leaves behind his beloved nieces, nephews and sisters and his community of close friends who became family. His humor, loyalty, and kindness left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.
Rest easy, Mike. We’ll keep the grill hot, the music loud, and the game on in your honor.
"Once a Raider, always a Raider."
