Robert “Logan” Sheehan passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 25.
Born on March 25, 2000, in Florence, Kentucky, Logan developed an early passion for movement and performance. He began gymnastics at age four and later transitioned to diving at Parkway Central High School, where he earned third place in the state during his senior year. His love for performance extended beyond athletics—his first job was with “The Wonder Wheelers,” a circus troupe supported by Josh Routh at Circus Kaput. There, he entertained audiences around St. Louis with unicycling, acrobatics, and balloon artistry.
Logan briefly attended Missouri State University before pursuing EMT training. Although he completed the program, he chose not to take the licensing exam. He later worked as an installer for his father’s company before moving to San Francisco at 21 to further explore circus arts. In San Francisco, Logan taught at the Circus Center, worked as a handyman at a dispensary, and bartended at Homestead in the Mission District.
In 2023, Logan returned to St. Louis to be closer to family. He resumed work with his father as a carpenter and found renewed purpose in bartending. Just a month before his passing, he stepped into a management role at Basso, embracing the new challenge with enthusiasm and vision.
Logan was the beloved son of Donald Joseph Sheehan Jr. and LeeAnn Shaw; brother to Donald Joseph Sheehan III “Trey” and Charlotte Sheehan. He also leaves behind devoted grandmothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
A celebration of Logan’s life will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at The Crossing at Fenton, 1800 Bowles Ave, Fenton, MO 63026. Visitation begins at 4:00 p.m., followed by the service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Backstoppers at https://backstoppers.org/donate/ in Logan’s honor.
