Robert "Bob" Tilden Snow
August 4, 1943 - September 5, 2025

Robert "Bob" Tilden Snow, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his lifelong home on September 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on August 4, 1943, in Kansas City to Tilden Eckert Snow and Evelyn Snow, Bob grew up in the very house his father built as a carpenter. That home would remain the heart of Bob's life; it's where he married the love of his life, Frances Snow, his devoted wife of 60 years, and where together they raised their family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Tilden and Evelyn Snow, as well as his brother John Snow and his sister Doris and his niece's Jane and Virginia .

He is survived by his beloved wife Frances Ann Snow ; his children, Chandra Lynn Snow, Shane Michael Snow, his wife June, and Tilden Jason Snow, his wife Hyun Ju and his grandchildren, Johnathon Michael Oyer, Joseph Morrow Oyer, and James Marloe Oyer. Bob also leaves behind two great-grandsons, Jackson Morrow Oyer and Jenson Milo Oyer. And his Niece Carol Jenkins .

Bob began his working life at a local grocery store before turning his passion for racing into a lifelong pursuit. In the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, he raced stock cars at I-70 Speedway and later supported his son Shane in following in his footsteps. After retiring early from the grocery business, Bob opened his own fabrication shop, where he became well known in the racing community for building and repairing race car chassis. His skill and craftsmanship earned him respect and friendships that lasted decades.

In later years, Bob returned to his roots in carpentry, building birdhouses, trinket boxes, picnic tables, and benches—always happiest when he was creating something with his hands.

Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. His kindness, hard work, and generosity left an indelible mark on those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Osawatomie First United Methodist Church 504 Pacific Ave., Osawatomie, KS 66064. Following the ceremony, we will have an exchange of memories and fellowship.

The Snow family extends heartfelt thanks to Bob's friends, neighbors, and members of the racing community for their friendship and support over the years.
