Robert Louis Stamp passed away at the age of 75 on October 22, 2025, in Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, California. Born on September 1, 1950, Robert was known for his popular, adventurous, and playful spirit that endeared him to many throughout his life.
Robert is survived by his son, Ian Stamp; sisters Paula Stamp of Sonoma, Liz Winter Lonie of Queensland, and Ruthie Shaps of Oakland; and brothers Glenn Fliehr of Modesto and William Wayne Stamp of Honolulu. He was preceded in death by his wife Liz Coder Stamp, parents Daphne d'Arx and Glenn Ralph Stamp, brothers Philip Wynter and Jerry Fliehr, and sisters Linda Stamp and Jill Stamp.
Since his wife's passing, Robert enjoyed various hobbies including bicycle riding, frequent breakfasts at Denny's, and smoking. During the first five years since her tragic passing he could often be seen with groups of friends along Santa Rosa Avenue and in various homeless camps in
Rohnert Park. These simple pleasures brought great joy to his life and those who shared these moments with him. After the terrible flood in Copeland Creek in the winter of 2022 he was one of the inaugural residents of Labath Landing where he lived until his passing. A funeral service will be held in January 2026 in Brisbane, Australia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to homeless services worldwide, a cause that was close to Robert's heart, reflecting his compassionate spirit and desire to help those in need.
