Rocky McCraw passed away at 61 years old from an accidental vehicle collision on October 13, 2025 while in the state of Tennessee. Rocky was loved by many who, although not blood relatives, still considered him family. Rocky was always cheerful, always hopeful and always, goofy even when he didn't try to be. He didn't always make the most rational decisions but he was always genuine and sincere from the heart. He loved the Lord boldly and talked about his faith every chance he could get with anyone who would listen.
Rocky spent lots of time in Fond du Lac Wisconsin in a discipleship program where he met many friends, made many impactful relationships, and grew both as a man and a Christian. One of Rocky's favorite scriptures was Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another.”.
Rocky is preceded in death by his mother Betty Jean Easterwood McCraw on October 17th 2024 . Although Rocky did not have a great relationship with his daughter or his siblings he would often talk about them and how he wished things were different.
Memorial services will be held for Rocky on the farm where he attended his discipleship program. There will be a celebration of life held in the Barns at N5221 Co. Rd. V. Fond Du Lac. WI 54937 at a time that will be later determined. Anyone who knew Rocky knew how much his mother meant to him and we believe that his final resting place should be next to her in Arizona. I think that's what Rocky would have wanted. A GoFundMe page has been created to help with the cost of making this happen.
We are all deeply saddened about the sudden loss of Rocky McCraw, but we also take comfort in the fact of knowing he was a firm believer in his savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We know that he is joined with Jesus and his mother in heaven for all eternity until we see him again. If you know Rocky please help share his cause so that we can honor him one last time. We love you Rocky, and we are going to miss those awesome t-shirts that you always had on! Rest with your Savior dear friend. 🙏
