Roger H. Burton, 94, of Lake Wales, FL passed away Friday, October 17, 2025. Born and raised in Millburn, New Jersey, he graduated from Millburn High School in 1949. He earned a Business degree from Indiana University in 1956 where he was a member of the Big Ten Championship rifle team and Kappa Delta Rho fraternity. He enlisted in the Army for 2 years in 1953 serving in the Korean War. Roger married the love of his life, Nancy Culbertson from Summit, NJ, on May 18, 1957 and raised 2 children in Berkeley Heights, NJ. He had a passion for antique cars, restoring a 1919 Ford Model T and 1936 Ford Coupe. After a 34 year career in the stainless steel tubing business, the Burtons retired to Punta Gorda Isles, FL in 1991. He enjoyed golfing and boating. He looked forward to trips to Ade, Indiana and Alton Bay, New Hampshire where his parents were from. They moved to Lake Wales, FL in 2003. He is survived by his son Brad (Colleen) Burton of Lakeland, FL and daughter Nanette (Steve) Kryston of Bedminster, NJ; three grandchildren: Chris (Jen) Burton, Tim (Lisa) Burton and Elizabeth (Grant) Lyons; three great grandchildren: Blake, June and Tucker Burton. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy of 66 years, grandson Scott Kryston, parents Everett and Anna (Jones) Burton, brother Charles Burton and sister Carolyn (Culp) Burton.
