Roger Kenneth “Ken” Daniels of Natomas, California, passed away at home on September 10, 2025, after a long illness, at the age of 52.
Ken was born on March 5, 1973, in Vallejo, California, to Roger and Eloris Daniels of San Jose, California.
Ken grew up in Almaden Valley, where he developed a strong love for sports, especially soccer. He attended Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, where he made many lifelong friends and earned a soccer scholarship to Howard University in Washington, D.C.
At Howard, Ken earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing. After graduation, he returned to Silicon Valley, where he built a successful career that gave him the chance to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures — all things he valued.
Outside of work, Ken lived life fully. He loved playing guitar, barbecuing, skiing, cycling, fishing, and playing dominoes and board games. He was known for his boisterous laugh, great smile, and laid-back charm. He especially enjoyed spending time in Twain Harte, California, where he was able to cross off a bucket-list item and see the Northern Lights.
Ken is survived by his mother, Eloris Daniels; his sister, Elisha Daniels; and his nephews, Isaac and Isaiah Daniels, whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Daniels. He leaves behind many lifelong friends who will miss the laughter, stories, and good times they shared with him.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Morgan Jones Mortuary, located at 4200 Broadway in Sacramento, followed by a repast.
