It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Rolando Alphonso Jr, who departed this life on September 19, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on April 1, 1961, Rolando lived a full and meaningful life devoted to faith, family, and friends.

Rolando was a proud father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought comfort and strength to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and the wisdom he freely shared. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled in his children and the countless lives he touched along the way.

He is survived by his beloved children Sharif and Niesha Blount, Ronnell Meynard, LaQuinta Johnson, Shatima Alphonso, and Sheray Alphonso along with a host of grandchildren, relatives, and friends who will continue to honor his memory with love and gratitude.

Rolando was preceded in death by his loving parents, Rolando Alphonso Sr. and Hermine Alphonso. He leaves behind his cherished siblings Barrington Alphonso, Pauline Aspinell, Noel Alphonso, Dennis Alphonso, and Michele Alphonso who will forever remember his laughter, strength, and unwavering love for family.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 1298 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Family and friends are invited to join in remembrance, sharing stories and celebrating the beautiful life he lived.

Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit and love will forever remain in our hearts.
