Ronald Paul "Ron" Abendschein, Jr., age 66, passed away on October 8, 2025, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Born on August 14, 1959, in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Ron lived a life marked by independence, passion, and authenticity.
A proud graduate of LaSalle College in Philadelphia, Ron earned his certification as a Mechanical Inspector and became a member of the American Society for Quality Control in 1990. Always eager to expand his skills, he later completed a program in CNC Programming in 2003. His dedication to precision and craftsmanship defined his career as a machinist—a profession he pursued with diligence until his retirement in 2019.
Ron was known for being unapologetically himself. He embraced life on his own terms and found joy in the things that spoke to his spirit. An avid hunter and true mountain man at heart, he cherished time spent outdoors. He also had a deep love for music and was a frequent concertgoer and avid Deadhead. His enthusiasm for motorcycles reflected his free-spirited nature and love of the open road.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Jeanette Abendschein; sister, Debra Deitch; daughter, Elizabeth Pawling; son, Tyler Smith; granddaughter, Isabel Pawling; and grandson, Jayden Pawling. Ron’s memory is also held dear by his fiancée, Kate Perkins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Abendschein Sr., and brother, David Abendschein.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who valued his strength and individuality.
