Roscoe Hutchison

Roscoe Lanny Hutchison, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and respected community leader, passed away on November 11, 2025, in Georgetown, Kentucky. He was 73 years old.

Born on October 19, 1952, in Paris, Kentucky, Lanny was the son of Roscoe and Juanita Hutchison. He grew up with strong family values that would guide him throughout his life. His early years in Kentucky laid the foundation for a lifetime of dedication to both his family and his professional pursuits.

Lanny built a distinguished career in banking and served for many years as the President of Whitaker Bank Carlisle. His leadership and commitment to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Lanny found great joy in spending time with those he loved. He was a loving husband to Ann Hutchison and a proud father to Landon Hutchison and his wife Tarra, as well as to Andrea Perkins and her husband Justin. His greatest pride came from being "Poppy" to his cherished grandchildren: McKenzie, Macyn, and Maddox Hutchison; and Conley and Cole Perkins. Survived by sisters Marlene Williams and Arlene Bradley.

Lanny cherished the years spent in the Villages, Florida. He had a passion for golf and treasured the time he spent with his golf buddies who were like brothers. These moments brought him happiness and camaraderie that enriched his later years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Juanita Hutchison, the mother of his children Deborah Hutchison, and sister Sherlene Johnson.

Lanny's legacy is one of love for family, dedication to community, and enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. A visitation will be held on November 14, 2025, from 04:30 PM to 06:30 PM at Northside Christian Church 101 Ferguson Lane Georgetown, KY.
