Rose Marie Roche

Rose Marie Roche, born on August 06, 1928, passed away on Tuesday, November 04, 2025, at age 97 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Walter L. and Anna Mangione Roche. She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony J. Roche; and her sister-in-law, Marie C. Roche; an infant brother, Walter L. Roche Jr; as well as her sister, Patricia Noplis; and brother-in-law Winston Noplis Jr. Her brother William L. Roche; and her sister-in-law, Geraldine Ferguson Roche; her sister, Mary Ann Roche Foster; and brother-in-law, Robert W. Foster; as well as her nephew Ralph W. Pena; and niece, Cecilia P. Turner.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Deborah A. Roche, Mark K. Roche, Pamela Foster Webb, Katherine Roche Devlin, William L. Roche, Lawrence O. Roche, James L. Roche, Michael L. Pena, Stephen A. Pena, Carol L. Pena and Brian P Noplis; as well as many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.

Ms. Roche attended St. Peter's Elementary School and graduated from St. Catherine's Academy in 1945. She was employed by the Veterans Administration and retired in 1983 after 37 years of service. She was a member of Christ the King Cathedral parish since 1955, and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.

A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Cathedral on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation at the church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the funeral mass.
