Roy Estes III

Roy C. Estes III, 44, passed away on October 10, 2025, Residing in Macclenny, Florida. Born on November 5, 1980, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Roy lived a life defined by generosity, hard work, and a deep commitment to serving others.

As the owner of Countryside Home Services, Roy dedicated his professional life to helping those in need. His partnerships with ElderSource and Heartfelt Ministries reflected his compassion and his desire to support the elderly with dignity and care. His work was a true extension of his character—selfless and kind.

A devoted Christian, Roy lived his faith through action. He was known for his big heart and his readiness to help anyone at any time. Whether offering assistance or simply being present, Roy gave of himself freely and with love.

Roy found great joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, motorcycle riding, and horsing around with the horses—activities that brought him peace and happiness.

He is survived by his fiancée, Amy Rowell, and her two sons, Ashton and Liam; his son, Layne Estes; his grandchildren, Jax Estes and Remy Estes; his father, Roy Estes II; and his aunts, Linda Powell and Sandy Eller McWha. Each of them carries forward the memory of a man whose love and generosity touched many lives.

Roy was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Eller-Estes.

A Celebration of Life will take place on October 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Mayo's, 7684 Old Nursery Rd. Guests are invited to bring a favorite dish or casserole for the potluck-style gathering. The main dish will be Boston Butt. Please coordinate with Robin Mayo at 910-728-0529 via text.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support family due to loss of income and business/personal debts.
